The Office of Proposal Development (OPD) is a service unit, providing comprehensive project management and proposal development services to support the preparation and submission of large-scale, multidisciplinary proposals to external sponsors and funding agencies.
We work with Illinois PIs, teams, and their units to:
- identify funding opportunities,
- coordinate with multidisciplinary teams,
- connect with relevant university resources,
- develop compelling proposals, with the ultimate goal of securing external funding.
OPD also manages limited submissions opportunities and is a resource for the campus grants development community, serving as an information clearinghouse and repository for best practices in the field.
